About

I’m Akhil Srivatsan, and I write about growth. To me growth is somewhat of a catch-all term that encompasses several of the key facets of my life. (My suspicion is the same holds true for others.)

In my case, there’s what I do for a living: I run a growth services firm – Milk Toast Solutions. There’s the growth of what I do for artistic self-expression: a music & culture magazine (Stranger Fiction) and a band (Ravens). There’s self-growth: aren’t we all trying to ‘grow’, in some way? And finally, there are my intellectual preoccupations: the historical and (hopefully) future growth of human civilisation, culture, technological capabilities, etc.

I write / compile this weekly newsletter mostly to have one place to catalogue all my writing, reading, and experiencing.
